Job summary

Mercy seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership.

Responsibilities include objective assessments, direct supervision of patients and supervision of Rehab technicians, and ensuring care aligns with Mercy Service Standards. Requires PT degree, licensure, BLS, and 6 months to 1 year preferred experience; strong commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required; certifications must be current to care for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per state acts.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
