Anacortes Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia Healthcare in Washington, DC, is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to join our therapy team. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve balance, gait, and mobility.

Candidates should have a PT degree from an accredited program, an active Washington PT license (or eligibility), CPR certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Competenze

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Washington PT license (or eligibility).
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• SNF, post-acute, or geriatric experience preferred—but not required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills.

Mansioni

• Complete PT evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands‑on therapy to improve balance, gait, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Modify treatment plans based on resident progress and clinical judgment.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and home strategies.
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress updates in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with PTAs and partner with the interdisciplinary team.
