Job summary
Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role with a sign-on bonus. You will assist the licensed PT in delivering therapies to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall wellness for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
The ideal candidate holds an active Tennessee PTA license, can evaluate and treat independently, and is passionate about geriatric care.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid PTA license in the state of practice.
- Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
- Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
- Ability to perform functional activities to aid residents' mobility.
Responsibilities
- Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
