Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The role supports the PT in designing and delivering therapies to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness for our geriatric residents.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license in the state, can evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and has a passion for geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license in the state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Interest or experience with geriatric populations is preferred.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Support efforts to prevent or limit disability and promote wellness in residents.
• Provide functional activities to help residents regain independence.
