Job summary

Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide group, individual, and family therapy for older adults in an intensive outpatient setting. The role involves collaboration with a small interdisciplinary team and documentation in compliance with Medicare guidelines.

You will develop treatment plans using evidence-based approaches and contribute to community education, with supervision available for provisionally licensed therapists.

Qualifications

• License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc., required
• Supervision provided for provisionally licensed therapists
• Work with kindness and accountability to enhance quality of life for patients (required)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team providing services to seniors (65+)
• Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches and develop/update treatment plans with the team
• Provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines within a designated time frame
• Main focus on group therapy with additional individual and family sessions as needed
• Assist with local community education and other duties as assigned

Education
