Job summary

MASC Medical Recruitment Firm seeks a compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time outpatient, geriatrics-focused position in Pensacola, FL. The role emphasizes preventive and longitudinal care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

You will provide comprehensive primary care, perform wellness visits, collaborate with NPs and care coordinators, and document in an EHR. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with no weekends.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Specialty in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care experience.
• Strong clinical judgment focused on preventive and longitudinal care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to a team-based, patient-first care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings with a focus on early intervention.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans for a predominantly geriatric population.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and support staff for seamless, patient-centered care.
• Utilize EHR to document clinical encounters and track patient outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to care enhancement.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
