Job summary

Fundamental is seeking an Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate and treat patients/residents, document services, and communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team to optimize daily living participation.

This full-time role includes supervising OTAs and therapy aides, completing timely documentation, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives; licensure, NBCOT certification, and BLS are required, with benefits starting on the first day of the month.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Minimum one year experience as an OT (geriatric rehab preferred).
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• NBCOT certification.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional Occupational Therapy services.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibly.
• Complies with all facility policies and procedures.
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, therapy aides and therapy students as needed.
