Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida OT license.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
