Job summary

Engage Senior Therapy, a partner of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our team at a new senior living community in Wiscasset, Maine.

You will provide individualized, evidence-based care to older adults across independent living, assisted living, dementia, and memory care settings, collaborating closely with the Engage team for best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active state OT license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure).
• Experience or interest in geriatrics, ADL training, and adaptive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of ADLs, cognition, safety awareness and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Provide hands-on interventions including ADL retraining, balance and mobility training, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Assess environmental risks and implement fall prevention strategies.
• Educate residents and caregivers on strategies and home programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
