Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver adult/geriatric occupational therapy in a collaborative clinical setting in Roanoke, Alabama. You will support independence, safety, and quality of life through patient-centered care.

Under supervision of an OT, you will implement treatment plans, document progress, and work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
