Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered occupational therapy to adult/geriatric populations, focusing on independence, mobility, safety and quality of life.

You will work under an Occupational Therapist, implement ADLs-focused treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress, while enjoying flexible scheduling and professional autonomy.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility and adaptive techniques.
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
