Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure or eligible in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to improve functional independence, safety and quality of life.
• Implement treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility and adaptive techniques.
• Assist patients in daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to adjust plans.
