Job summary

Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist in New York to provide rehabilitative services to residents. You will evaluate, plan and implement OT care per physician orders, supervise assistants, and document progress while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered NYS license as an OT with a degree in OT.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program or international equivalent.
• Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens residents for rehabilitation therapy needs.
• Completes Occupational Therapy evaluations upon physician order.
• Establishes OT Plan of Care and provides treatments per physician order.
• Supervises Assistants and non-licensed personnel.
• Documents progress toward OT goals and completes required records.
