Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bronx, NY. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating OT treatment plans, selecting activities for independence, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team. NY license required; new grads with relevant experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Residents & develop an OT treatment plan that will meet their individual needs.
• Choose activities that will help the residents to carry out their daily activities independently.
• Observe, assess, and document residents' occupational therapy progress by preparing detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team

Education
