Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in applicable states.
• NBCOT certification preferred for Sanford Health facilities.
• BLS for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• Driver's license may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and design OT treatments to restore independence.
• Provide evaluations and interventions for functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students and provide ongoing education to peers.
