AltaMed Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Los Angeles, CA for the PACE program. The role focuses on developing, rehabilitating, and maintaining activities of daily living and functional skills for elderly participants.

The candidate should hold a CA OT license, have geriatric experience preferred, and may require a BLS certification. This is an in-person role with competitive compensation and benefits at AltaMed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Occupational Therapy license issued by the CA Board or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience with frail elderly or disabled populations preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• Post-professional training in Physical Agent Modality preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to PACE participants.
• Plan, administer and document therapy to improve ADLs and functional skills.
• Promote independence and quality of life for elderly participants in the program.
