Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support the PACE program, focused on rehabilitation and enabling independence for elderly participants.

The role requires CA OT licensure and experience with frail elderly or disabled populations; bilingual abilities are preferred. A commitment to comprehensive OT services and adherence to safety guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license issued by the State of California.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail elderly/geriatric populations.
• Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin.
• Post-professional education and training in Physical Agent Modality preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy for PACE participants.
• Develop, improve and maintain activities of daily living and functional skills to promote independence.
• Provide comprehensive OT services focused on independence and quality of life for elderly individuals.
