Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Current OT license to practice in state of employment; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services for adult and geriatric patients (18+).
• Collaborates with rehab team to design appropriate activity programs.
• Performs OT evaluations and develops care plans based on results.
• Supervises COTA, delegates tasks, and revises care plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families in energy conservation and ADL/ adaptive equipment.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in Performance Improvement activities.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and maintains equipment.
• Maintains PHI privacy and follows safety policies.
