Job summary

Rivetus is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Livonia, MI to provide comprehensive OT services to patients in post-acute settings. You will assess, plan, and implement treatments to improve independence and functional abilities, while supervising OTAs and aides per policy.

Responsibilities include documenting care, participating in patient care conferences, and contributing to program development. A valid Michigan OT license is required and weekend schedules may be available.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Conducts occupational therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient independence with activities of daily living.
• Provides occupational therapy treatments consistent with the professional and ethical standards of the AOTA.
• Develops and implements treatment plans to reach patients’ highest potential for independence.
• Adheres to professional standards of practice and completes documentation.
• Supervises OTAs and aides as assigned and participates in care conferences.
• Participates in CQI activities and continuing education.
