Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation seeks an Occupational Therapist to empower adult and geriatric patients to improve independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life within a collaborative clinical setting.

You will provide patient-centered therapy with clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong teamwork, focusing on meaningful outcomes and consistent care while promoting professional growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT or eligible to practice in New York state.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Interest or experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric rehabilitation.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized care plans focused on functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Deliver therapy through ADL training, therapeutic activities, and adaptive techniques.
• Assist patients with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support outcomes and continuity of care.
• Track progress, maintain clinical documentation, and adjust plans as rehabilitation goals evolve.
