The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) is responsible for complying with physician orders as delegated by the licensed Nurse and for providing direct resident care. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant establishes and maintains a therapeutic environment for residents. In conjunction with other members of the interdisciplinary team, the GNA develops and implements individualized care plans with special emphasis on the rehabilitative, physical, and social desires and needs of each resident.
Shift: Wk1: Mon-Wed, Fri-Sat, Wk2: Sun-Mon, Wed-Fri
Salary: $17 - $19 based on experience.
High School or better.
Registration with State registry required.
Successful completion of a State approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant training program.
Six months experience in long term care facility.
