Job summary

Fundamental is hiring a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for full-time employment. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires who start on or before September 1, 2026. The role pays USD $18.50–$23.00 per hour with 8- or 12-hour shifts.

This is a hands-on care position in a geriatric setting. Candidates must be a licensed GNA in good standing with the state, able to respond to emergencies, and capable of communicating clearly about a resident’s condition.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed GNA in good standing with the state
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language
• GNAs must be a caring individuals dedicated to providing high quality care to our residents/patients
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Changing linens
• Properly positioning patients
• Offering hydration
• Checking in on patients in the morning and night
• Taking/ recording vital signs
• GNAs may perform other/similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary

Job description

Now offering a $2,500. sign on bonus for newly hired, full time CNA-1. Newly hired full time CNA-1 must start on or before September 1, 2026 to qualify for bonus.

$25.00 flat rate for PRN. Full/part-time, PRN positions available. 8 or 12 hour shifts!

Posted Salary Range

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
