Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (CNA I) to support residents with daily living and person-centered care. The GNA will help with activities of daily living, follow personal care plans, and assist with resident programs while collaborating with the clinical team.

The role requires at least 1 year of CNA I experience (preferred), current CPR certification, Maryland CNA I certification, and being 18 or older. Computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CNA I experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current, active CNA I certification in the state of Maryland.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Implement residents' personalized care plans respecting preferences and routines.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address residents' needs promptly.

Location: Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (CNA I ). Our GNAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Bi-weekly schedules available

16 hours per week

Week 1 - Monday, Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday 7:00am - 3:30pm

or

8 hours per week

Week 1 - Saturday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Week 2 - Sunday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Compensation: Ranging from $17.00 per hour up to $22.00 per hour; based upon years of experience. Potential for $1.00 per hour shift differential for evening and night shifts.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and resident programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 1 year of CNA I experience preferred
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current, active CNA I certification in the state of Maryland
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills required.
