Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, serving residents across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing settings.

The role involves planning and directing clinical operations, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while advancing preventative and well‑being services to help residents thrive and age in place.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable state.
• Minimum of five years as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary/urgent care or medical office setting, preferably geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus and oversee resident care across all levels of care.
• Plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including team management and day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure care compliance with federal and state regulations; maintain geriatrics knowledge through continuing education.
• Serve as clinical preceptor for NP students and contribute to preventative and well‑being services to help residents thrive and age in place.
