Job summary

Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care. You will support daily living activities, coordinate with the Health Services Director, and ensure safety and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities include handling medication room operations, documenting treatments, complying with state regulations, and communicating with physicians, pharmacies, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training requirements.
• Must have word processing skills.
• Must have current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the medication room and medication services as directed by the Health Services Director and state regulations.
• Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications per physician orders and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services in each resident’s clinical record.
