Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace seeks a Specific Needs Medication Technician to support medication services and direct resident care. The role includes administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and coordinating with pharmacies for refills.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience preferred by state regulations.
• Must hold state-required medication pass certification or other required certification.
• Must have current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handler's permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the medication room and medication services as directed by the HSD.
• Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of routine and non-routine medications.
• Complete simple treatments and monitor residents as directed by the HSD.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and refills.
• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services in each resident’s chart.
• Report medication errors and complete required notifications.
• Provide direct resident care while promoting dignity and independence.
