Job summary

Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care. You will assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, laundry, and daily chores while promoting resident dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include medication room management, processing orders, administering medications per physician orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or as required by state regulations.
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification.
• Must have current CPR certification and First Aid training.
• Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the medication room and medication services.
• Process physician medication and treatment orders per state regulations.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services in resident records.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for orders and refills.
• Report medication errors per policy and changes in resident condition.
