Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join its care teams across multiple centers. You will greet and room patients, assist providers, perform routine testing, and support high-risk patients under RN direction. Bilingual skills are a plus, and compliance with CPR and EMR requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• 3-5 years in a Medical Assistant role preferred.
• EMR experience is required.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Room patients in a timely manner and assist providers with scheduling.
• Take vital signs and review medications.
• Conduct routine quality control checks and infection control measures.
• Assist with telephonic patient support and home-based care as needed.
• Administer vaccinations and perform procedures under RN/provider direction.
