Job summary

Ocean Meadow Senior Living in Clinton, CT is seeking qualified nursing staff to administer medications for residents in compliance with federal and state regulations. You may assist with admissions assessments and documentation, contribute to care and service plans, and track clinical data under supervision.

You will provide health-related guidance, communicate health changes to physicians and families, and respond promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• LVN, LPN or equivalent licensure preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for medication administration for residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations.
• Assist admissions assessments and documentation for new residents.
• Contribute to care plans and data collection for acute and long-term care.
• Track clinical data (wounds, infection control) under direction.
• Provide health-related consultations to residents and staff.
• Notify physicians or family of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain open communication across departments.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information.
• Attend required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Promote safe working environment and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
