Job summary

Ocean Meadow Senior Living is seeking an LPN for a part-time 3pm-9pm shift in Clinton, CT. You will administer medications, assist with admissions, and support residents with memory challenges in a compassionate, compliant setting.

The role requires an active LPN license and CPR certification, plus 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with the elderly. Join a team focused on empathy, respect, and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in compliance with Federal & State regulations
• Assist with admissions and assessments of new residents
• Assist with implementing care plans and data collection
• Maintain clinical tracking (e.g., wounds, infection control) under direction
• Provide health-related consultation within the community
• Notify physicians/families of changes and document appropriately
• Respond quickly to emergencies
• Maintain communication with departments and staff
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff
• Understand Safety & Disaster Plan
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Promote safe working environment and equipment preservation
• Maintain professional demeanor toward residents and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned
