Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Warrenton, NC, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Liberty Cares with Compassion. The LPN will assist in directing nursing services on the unit under RN supervision, delegate tasks to staff, monitor residents, and promptly notify physicians in emergencies.

Other duties may be assigned. Candidates should be an LPN from an accredited program, hold an active NC license, be CPR certified, and willing to work as a charge

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license; renewals every other year.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for unit with RN supervision.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse change or condition.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and modify orders as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
