Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to work onsite in one or more long-term care facilities within your local community. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support with autonomy and strong clinical backing.

You will join an integrated team, enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, and benefit from comprehensive administrative support designed to help you focus on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LMFT license.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to timely documentation and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to LTC residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments, psychosocial evaluations, screenings, and treatment planning.
• Support residents with depression, anxiety, adjustment to illness, grief, trauma, substance use, and behavioral issues.
• Deliver behavioral management and goal-oriented interventions aligned with geriatric care.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, rehabilitation, and medical providers to coordinate care.
