Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in internal medicine with a focus on geriatric populations.
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct thorough histories, exams, and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in older adults.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Interpret labs and tests and make clinical recommendations.
• Provide leadership and oversight to APPs (NPs and PAs).
• Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Promote preventive care and health maintenance for geriatric patients.
• Mentor and educate healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation per standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
