Job summary

Foundation Health Partners seeks a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with an interest in geriatric medicine for our Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska. The role emphasizes team-based care and coordination with APPs to manage complex adult cases, from preventive medicine to chronic disease management.

The candidate will join a physician-led team on a campus offering labs, imaging and pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.
• Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Consult on and manage complex multisystem conditions in adults.
• Coordinate care with APPs to focus on chronic and high-acuity cases.
• Provide comprehensive primary care within an Internal Medicine framework.
• Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality metrics.
