Job summary
Creative Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a physician leader for a Facility Medical Director and Supervising Physician role, focusing on geriatric care in skilled long-term care settings. You will lead a clinical and administrative team and deliver high-quality geriatric care with autonomy supported remotely.
The position requires Tennessee medical licensure, DEA, and board certification, with 5+ years of clinical practice and 2+ years in leadership.
Qualifications
- Tennessee medical license is required.
- DEA registration is required.
- Board Certification in a relevant field (Internal/Family Medicine or Geriatrics).
- 2+ years clinical leadership or supervising physician experience.
- 5+ years clinical practice experience.
- Prior geriatric primary care or related field experience.
Responsibilities
- Medical directorships for SNFs and other long-term care facilities.
- Engage with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families.
- Identify growth opportunities with SNFs and facilities in local market.
- Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Audit documentation for each supervised provider on a monthly basis.
- Provide high-quality complex geriatric care to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Participate in the on-call schedule.
- Attend required trainings and meetings.
