Job summary

Encore Village in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Dining Restaurant Manager to supervise the Sheffields and Seasons Dining Rooms and Hermans, ensuring satisfaction, consistency, timeliness, and safe, high‑quality service for residents.

You will monitor food temperatures, coordinate with the Nutrition Services Manager and Executive Chef, manage schedules within budget, lead daily stand‑ups, and implement training to maintain compliance with OSHA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires Safety and Sanitation Certification or currently in a program to obtain certification, or an Associate Degree.
• 2–3 years supervisory experience in resident services or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food quality, temperatures, portion control, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager, Nutrition Services Manager and Executive Chef to ensure proper production and input into Geri Menu.
• Maintain scheduling within budget and adjust for call-offs and benefits time.
• Conduct daily stand‑up meetings to review menus and resident information related to meal service.
• Ensure compliance with IDPH and other regulations during dining room rounds.
• Provide training programs to maintain a safe working environment and OSHA compliance.
