Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a Cook for a 10:30am - 7pm shift. You will prepare meals using standardized recipes and production worksheets, assist with setup, service, and cleanup, and coordinate inventory needs with the Chef/Production Manager.

Weekend availability is required and prior restaurant experience is a plus. This role emphasizes food safety, confidentiality of resident information, and teamwork with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations in a long-term care

Qualifications

Cook 10:30am -7pm at Encore Village of Schaumburg

Responsible for food preparation utilizing standardized recipes and production worksheets; assisting with set-up, service and cleanup of food production; and adherence to cleaning, safety and sanitation standards. In coordination with Chef/Production Manager, develop new menu items and recipes. Inform Chef/Production Manager of inventory requirements in a timely fashion. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure residents' rights and employee confidentiality are protected. Weekend availability is required. Experience in working in restaurants a plus. Minimum of 6 months professional cooking experience preferred.
