Job summary

Greenhillscenterrehab is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to oversee the Food Service Department for our geriatric residents. You will supervise and train staff, help direct operations, and ensure quality control in food preparation, storage, and inventory management.

The role requires organizing and implementing program activities, inspecting storage areas, assisting with purchasing, and monitoring costs. Weekdays and weekends availability is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year supervisory experience.
• High school degree.
• Strong references.
• Experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and train team members in the Food Service Department.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the department and its programs.
• Inspect storage rooms and janitorial closets for upkeep and supply control.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of food and non-food supplies.
• Assist in food purchasing and receiving while monitoring expenditures and cost controls.
• Develop methods to determine quality and quantity of food.
