Job summary

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to lead our food service team in providing high-quality meals for geriatric residents. You will supervise, train staff, and collaborate with the department to manage operations, inventory, and cost controls.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and candidates should have at least 1 year supervisory experience and a high school degree. Weekend availability is expected.

Candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills to supervise staff and interact with our geriatric residents. Responsibilities include supervising/training staff and assisting with the operations of the Food Service Department. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Food Service Department, its programs and activities. Inspect food storage rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of food and non-food supplies. Assist in food purchasing and receiving including monitoring expenditures and cost controls. Assist in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food.

Dietary SupervisorQualifications

• At least 1 year supervisory experience
• High school degree.
• Strong references.
• Experience in healthcare, a plus.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends

Shift:Full time and Part time shifts available

Salary: up to $26.00 an hour
