Job summary

Alliance Health at West Acres in Brockton, MA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support high-quality meal service for residents. You will help prepare and serve meals, ensure sanitary dining and kitchen areas, and follow safety guidelines with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, delivering meals, clearing tables, stocking ingredients, and assisting with menu planning. Shifts run 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience as dietary aide is preferred but training may be provided.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is expected.
• Capable of preparing meals following provided instructions.
• Able to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly and communicates well with residents and staff.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform duties.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; food services certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Assist in serving meals under supervision.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms.
• Clear tables and remove dishes and waste.
• Discard leftovers and manage garbage.
• Clean food stations, wash dishes and utensils.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with expense tracking and menu planning.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
