Job summary

NHC Franklin is seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian to join the Food and Nutrition Services team at NHC Place Cool Springs in Franklin, TN. You will perform nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and support high-quality patient care across departments.

The ideal candidate holds a TN RD license, has clinical or internship experience in dietetics, and is passionate about geriatric nutrition and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold current TN RD license.
• Clinical or internship experience in dietetics.
• Interest in geriatric nutrition and long-term care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments, care plans, and documentation.
• Monitor high-risk patients (e.g., weight loss, tube feeding, diabetes).
• Provide guidance to the FNS Manager and team.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic diets.
• Observe meal service and ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Review menus, monitor QA, and assist with surveys as needed.
