Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. Join us to positively impact the communities we serve and enhance resident experiences.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, serving meals, and maintaining sanitation. Must lift up to 30 pounds, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with staff and residents. Residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
