Job summary

PACE Southeast Michgan is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT. The role covers day health center and community settings, with documentation in patient records and collaboration with care teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Michigan COTA license, an AOTA-approved associate degree, and at least one year of geriatrics experience.

Qualifications

Current Michigan COTA license in good standing.
Graduate of AOTA approved school with an associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of one year experience in geriatrics required.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments consistent with AOTA standards.
Document daily and weekly treatments in the patient record.
Coordinate with other disciplines for comprehensive care.

Represent OT department to family, visitors and personnel; attend care conferences as requested.
Maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment; keep clinical area clean.
Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives; rotate to other facilities as needed.
