PACE Southeast Michgan seeks a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the OT department in clinical treatment programs for geriatrics and community settings. You will assist in implementing plans, document care, and participate in care conferences while upholding HIPAA and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.
Genial, patient-centered care is essential as you collaborate with the rehab team, participate in program development, and rotate to other facilities as needed.
The broad function is to assist the Occupational Therapist in the clinical implementation of treatment programs by carrying out and modify treatment plans as outlined in the Occupational Therapy evaluation and assist the PACE Southeast Michigan rehabilitation department with exercise/ADL/IADL and participant care related functions as needed. Participates in patient care conferences and program development. Completes appropriate documentation and adheres to policies, procedures and current standards of clinical practice including HIPAA confidentiality regulations.
