Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support geriatric residents with daily living activities and personal care in a clinical setting. Qualifications

• Current CNA license

• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, and other ADLs.
• Operate and assist with medical equipment (geri-chairs, wheelchairs, oxygen regulators).
• Monitor residents' physical and mental status, take vital signs, and manage specimens.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff; document and respond to requests and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident areas; change bedding and handle linens.
• Support nursing staff with medical procedures and post-surgical care following universal precautions.
• Participate in training and multi-disciplinary meetings for patient care planning and skill development.
• Other duties as assigned.
