Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln, Illinois. The role provides direct nursing care to residents, supervises LPNs and CNAs, and ensures care aligns with policies, physician orders, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, has a degree from an accredited program, and brings experience in long-term care. The position offers 12-hour shifts and a pay rate of $50.00 per hour, with non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ health status and develop/update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and respond to changes in residents’ conditions, including notifying physicians and families as needed.
• Provide skilled nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, and tube feedings per physician orders.
• Complete nursing assessments and document medications, treatments, and resident care in the medical record.
• Participate in the MDS and other required assessments within regulatory timelines.
• Provide supervision, direction, and evaluation of LPNs and CNAs; conduct shift handoffs.
