Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management Warrenton, NC seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and daily ADLs during shifts. The role includes linen changes, vital signs, and assisting CNAs, while keeping patient rooms tidy and records up to date.

The position emphasizes compassionate geriatric care, adherence to facility policies, and teamwork with nursing staff. A NA1-trained graduate with a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a NA1 training program; must pass state test within 4 months.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and follow orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs during shift.
• Change linen on beds with bath schedule and PRN.
• Takes and records vital signs per policy and/or as directed.
• Assist CNAs with tasks and turn/reposition residents per policy.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care as needed.
• Answer call bells promptly and complete patient care records.
• Collect urine/stool specimens and manage care records daily.
• Maintain neat, clean patient units and organize supplies.
• Follow restraint policy and assist with post-mortem care when needed.
