Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Yadkinville, NC is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the night shift. You will support residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and daily living activities, while ensuring safety, dignity, and documentation accuracy.

The role requires completion of NA1 training or equivalent and a high school diploma, with a strong commitment to geriatric care and teamwork with CNAs and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a NA1 training program. Must have passed the program and must pass state test within 4 months from completion.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other nursing staff, other departments, and families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs during shift.
• Changes linens on beds with bath schedule and/or PRN.
• Takes and records vital signs per policy or as directed.
• Assists CNAs with needed tasks.
• Turns and repositions residents per Facility policy.
• Assists with oral hygiene and denture care.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including I&O.
• Keeps patient unit and equipment clean and organized.
