Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to provide geriatric care with genuine concern for welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene, including denture care.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including I & O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
