Job summary

Allied Services seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to support nursing staff under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with routine tasks, transport and prepare residents, and maintain clean, orderly equipment and spaces.

You must be able to demonstrate care appropriate to the age of patients served, with potential rotation to other units as needed and compliance with privacy and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program required.
• Six months experience as a Nurse Aide in a geriatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurses in carrying out routine assignments.
• Transports and prepares residents and equipment.
• Keeps equipment and areas in an orderly hygienic condition.
• Willing to rotate to other units as necessary.
